The Board of Trustees met at the Medina Township Office
located at 10628 N. Galena Road, Mossville, Illinois on May 13th, 2020
Purpose: Regularly Scheduled Board Meeting

Call To Order: Supervisor Dawson called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
Minutes:
Clerk, Garner, presented the minutes of the Regular Board Meeting held April 8th, 2020. Trustee Molohon moved to approve, as presented, seconded by Trustee Gudat; followed by a unanimous “Aye” voice vote with Trustee Clinch abstaining.
Community Policing Report:
No report.
Public Input:
Supervisor Dawson recognized Clayton Walenta. Clayton Walenta advised that he believes there was a partnership between the Medina Township and the Medina Mossville Youth Baseball Softball Association. The Townships owns Medina Park and spends tax dollars to maintain and improve the facility while MMYBSA provides sweat equity and co-funds projects like safety netting and hand dryers. When compliments about the facility are received, the township and volunteers past and present are acknowledged and recognized. MMYBSA works to promote the partnership in many ways. On April 8th, the board was advised of concerns on how the parents association has been treated during the winter by the township supervisor when MMBSA property was moved without communications disturbing their operations and efficiency. The issue has been discussed with the supervisor but remain unresolved. Additional issues discussed were repairs to the Medina Park concession stand East garage and security alarm trips as additional information/details have been requested. He also did not feel that the Supervisor recognizes the partnership and views the park as owned by the township with only an agreement for the association to use the park. The issues are being brought to the board attention as he feels that they remain unresolved.

Pay Township Bills
Township/Road District Bills Audited: All bills of the Town and the Road District were approved for payment. Trustee Gudat moved to pay the bills, seconded by Trustee Molohon
followed by a roll call vote with Trustee Gudat, Trustee Molohon, Trustee Clinch Pnd Supervisor Dawson voting “Aye”. Motion passed unanimously.
Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the board, Supervisor Dawson moved to adjourn, seconded by Trustee Molohon, followed by a unanimous “Aye” voice vote. The meeting adjourned at 6:30 PM.
