The board of Trustees met at the Medina Township Office
located at 10628 N. Galena Road, Mossville, Illinois on June 12th, 2019
Purpose: Town Budget Hearing – Fiscal Year 2019 -2020
Present: John H. Dawson, Supervisor
Cam Parr, Trustee
Shawn E. Garner, Clerk
Mike Molohon, Trustee
Adam Gudat, Trustee
Richard Clinch, Trustee
Other Township Officials and Staff Present:
Frank Sturm II, Road Commissioner
Others Present: 4 resident attended.
Public Input: Supervisor Dawson requested public comment but received no request for input.
Call To Order: The hearing was called to order at 6:15 PM by Supervisor Dawson who reported that the proposed Town Budget has been on display at the Town Hall located at 10628 N. Galena Rd., Mossville, IL for a period of 30 days, as required by statute.
Supervisor Dawson then presented the Town Budget for April 1, 2019 thru March 31st, 2020.
Proposed Amounts Appropriated For Town Use
General Town Fund $860,550
Audit Fund 0
Insurance Fund 0
I.M.R.F. 45,000
Social Security Fund 35,000
General Assistance Fund 54,400
Park Fund 69,350
Total Appropriations $1,064,300
Budget Ordinance No. TB 19-20 Adopted: Trustee Clinch moved that the Town Budget be approved, as presented; seconded by Trustee Parr. Supervisor Dawson opened the floor for discussion. After review of budget items, discussion was concluded. A roll call vote taken by Clerk Garner, with Supervisor Dawson, Trustee Parr, Trustee Gudat, Trustee Molohon and Trustee Clinch voting “Aye”. The motion passed unanimously.
Adjournment: Supervisor Dawson then moved that the hearing be closed; seconded by Trustee, Molohon followed by a unanimous “Aye” vote. The Town Budget Hearing adjourned at 6:30 PM.
