Road District Tax Levy Hearing 

The Board of Trustees met at the Medina Township Office

located at 10628 N. Galena Road, Mossville, Illinois on November11th, 2020

Purpose: Road District Tax Levy Hearing – Fiscal Year 2020 – 2021 (Ord. No. RL-21)

Present: John H. Dawson, Supervisor

Shawn E. Garner, Clerk

Richard Clinch, Trustee

Mike Molohon, Trustee

Cam Parr, Trustee

Adam Gudat, Trustee

Other Officials and Township Staff Present:  None

Others In Attendance: 3

Public Input:  Supervisor Dawson opened floor for public input with no request received.

Call To Order: The hearing was called to order at 6:00 PM by Supervisor Dawson.  Township Clerk Shawn Garner presented to the board the proposed Medina Township Road District Tax Levy (Ordinance No. RL-21 for April 1, 2020 thru March 31st, 2021)

Road District Tax Levy Summary:

General Road Fund – $610,000

Audit Fund – $0

Insurance Fund – $13,000

IMRF Fund – $32,000

Social Security Fund – $17,000

Permanent Road – $617,000

Bridge-Joint Construction with County Fund – $20,000

Total Taxes Levied $ 1,309,000  

*plus .167 Permanent Road

There being no further questions, Supervisor Dawson moved to approve Ord. No. RL-21, as presented; seconded by Trustee Clinch.  Supervisor Dawson then instructed Clerk, Garner to take a roll-call vote with Trustees, Clinch, Molohon, Gudat and Parr and Supervisor Dawson voting “Aye”.  The motion passed by unanimous “Aye” vote.

The Road District Levy Hearing was then adjourned at 6:15 PM by Supervisor, Dawson.
