Peoria County Media Release
See attached press release for the new 2015 Peoria County Community Health Indicator Report as reviewed at the 4-20-15 Board of Health meeting.
The actual Report, also attached, examines multiple factors of population health and provides statistics on causes of death and illness.
As you read articles in the local papers on services being cut or reduced due to the financial constrains experienced by units of government, please rest assured that services provided by Medina Township are not effected. Medina will continue to provide the same services to our residents.

We are partnering with other local governments to help reduce storm water runoffs and meet EPA requirements. We are working to prevent soil erosion through water run off control.

Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, and Marshall County Health Departments are working to protect residents during the current Ebola situation in the United States. While there have been no confirmed cases of Ebola in Central Illinois and none in the State of Illinois, plans are in place to address public health and safety.
Medina township would like to share with its residents a public announcement from the Peoria County Health Department regarding the current status of the Ebola health issue in Central Illinois.
