Board of Trustees

 

The board of Trustees met at the Medina Township Office

located at 10628 N. Galena Road, Mossville, Illinois on June 12th, 2017

 

Purpose:        Road District Budget Hearing – Fiscal Year 2017 - 2018

 

Present:         John H. Dawson, Supervisor

                        Adam Gudat, Trustee

Cam Parr, Trustee

                        Mike Molohon, Trustee

                        Shawn E. Garner, Clerk        

 

Absent:            Richard Clinch, Trustee         

                       

Other Township Officials and Staff Present:

Frank Sturm II, Road Commissioner, Mandy Forbis, Office Manager

 

Others Present: 1 resident present.

 

Public Input: Supervisor Dawson requested public comment but received no request for input.

 

Call To Order: The hearing was called to order at 6:00 PM by Supervisor Dawson who announced that the proposed Road District Budget has been on display at the Town hall located at10628 N. Galena Rd. – Mossville, Illinois for 30 days, as required by State Statute.

 

The Road District Budget for April 1, 2017 thru March 31st of 2017 was then presented by Road Commissioner, Frank Sturm II, as follows:

                                                Audit Fund                                              0

                                                Insurance Fund                                             15,000

                                                I.M.R.F.                                                        31,000

                                                Social Security Fund                        18,000

                                                Permanent Road Fund                                777,500

Joint Construction or Repair of

Bridges–Joint Exp County Fund      131,000

                                                Total Appropriations                 $1,562,443

 

Budget Ordinance No. RD 17-18 Adopted: Supervisor Dawson moved to adopt the Road District Budget, as presented; seconded by Trustee Parr. Discussion followed. Any questions asked were addressed and answered satisfactorily. There being no further inquiries, a Roll Call Vote was then taken by Clerk, Garner with Supervisor Dawson, Trustees: Parr, Gudat and Molohon voting “Aye”. The motion passed.

 

Adjournment: Supervisor Dawson then moved that the hearing for the Road District Budget be closed; seconded by Trustee Molohon followed by a unanimous “Aye” vote. The Road District Budget Hearing adjourned at 6:30 PM.
